The best place to start when preparing to write a resume is to carefully read the job postings that interest you. As you apply for different jobs, you should study each job description for keywords that show what the employer is looking for in an ideal candidate. Then, when you’re crafting each resume, it’s just a matter of cutting and pasting relevant information together. Think of this as your brag file.
Consider including direct links to your social media profiles or your website. More than likely, the recruiters will search your name online to get a sense of your past work or experiences. Don’t leave it to chance and instead make it easy for them to find you online.
